Another surprIsE

Seems that scumsite I-Lookup is using two Internet Explorer vulnerabilities to install an adware toolbar on unsuspecting user’s computers. And, sure, one could blame Microsoft for creating such a buggy and incredibly faulty environment in the first place, but… well… okay, let’s blame Microsoft.
Redmond has not released a solution to either problem, and is instead looking to sue I-Lookup for taking advantage of their, um, thingie-doodle. The flaws allow an attacker to send an email or IM to a user with a link that causes a program to run on your PC whether you like it or not.
If you wish to avoid the problem, Microsoft helpfully suggests that you stop opening most of your email.
