Ballmer: iPod owners are thieves

Microsoft’s insane dancing bear Steve Ballmer was giving a little talk in Europe about Digital Rights Management and said, “We�ve had DRM in Windows for years. The most common format of music on an iPod is ‘stolen’.” He was alluding to the fact that Windows Media files can be protected from unwanted copying, while those dirty, nasty, disgusting MP3’s that every media player in the world worth its salt (are you listening, Sony?) plays natively.
