Will load luggage for food

If you have a ticket to fly US Airways into Philadelphia over the New Year’s weekend, keep your fingers crossed that there’ll be anyone there to bring out the gate. The financially threatened airline is apparently so financially threatened that it has asked its employees to work for nothing so’s your baggage doesn’t end up in luggage limbo.
The airline cancelled 400 flights last weekend after many employees called in “sick,” which is sort of like “working from home,” except you’re not actually working. Wait, I guess it’s exactly like “working from home.”
And how the hell is the company positioning the work-for-nothing program over one of the busiest travel weekends of the year? As “an opportunity to learn more about the operation of our airline and come face to face with our customers.”
Face to fist sounds more like it.
