Sad Christmas? Blame Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart had foreseen that this holiday season might not be the buying bonanza that everyone hoped, so they told their overseas suppliers to slow down shipments so Wal-Mart wouldn’t have too much merchandise. The problem is that Wal-Mart controls so much imported goods that other retailer’s cargo was also slowed down because it would be shipped at the same time.
Result: merchandise traffic jam, cancelled orders, shortage of some goods, disappointed retailers and shoppers for Christmas, after-Christmas sales bonanza for you.
All the goods ordered for under the Christmas tree are arriving now at discounters such as Overstock.com, and they’re slashing prices on all the hot electronics that no one could buy earlier.
Thanks, Wal-Mart! You ruined Christmas for everyone! Yay!
