Supreme offense

House Majority Leader Tom DeLay is pushing the on-going Battle for the Courts all the way to the top, calling the work done by Reagan-appointed Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy incredibly outrageous, because he makes his own decisions rather than abide by Mr. DeLay’s and is also, according to a guy whose own legal shenanigans may qualify him for his own set of striped coveralls, doing his own research on something called The Internet, which is, I guess, supposed to be somewhat misleading.
DeLay’s rhetoric caused Illinois Democratic Senator Dick Durbin to ask the musical question, “Has the Internet become the devil’s workshop? Is it some infernal machine now that needs to be avoided by all right-thinking Americans?”
Justice Kennedy could not be reached for comment, as he has been appointed for life and couldn’t care less about what some lying, self-serving Texan representative thinks.
