Economy ecology

How does the global economic outlook shape up according to those who handle the cash? Not so great. Merrill Lynch took a poll of 339 fund managers around the world, and what they see is a “truly breathtaking” shift toward a gloomy economic future for everyone.
Energy prices and U.S. inflation are stoking the fires for a flattening out or even a downturn in the whole monetary world. Now, it’s true that no one actually knows what the hell is really going on and a lot of this is a craps shoot, but over half of those surveyed (and these are the guys holding our collective purse strings) expect a weakening in economic growth, with only 23% looking ahead to a stronger economy.
