I feel the Earth (huh) move (huh)

If you live in California, add another daily regimen to your weather forecasting: Earthquake Hazard Forecasting!
The U.S. Geological Survey offers an online map of the state showing the likelihood of an earthquake based on dogs barking, chicken egg-laying numbers and dowsing. If you’re in a red area, you have a 1-in-10 chance of experiencing some sort of earth movement in the next 24 hours.
The more likely use is to see where aftershocks to earthquakes that have already occurred will happen, but one assumes that if you’ve been through a major earthquake, you’ve probably got other things on your mind.
